ReBlast is a highly clean product. Contains a minimal amount of salt. In contrast to carbon slag abrasives, glass has a low heavy metal content, which is especially important when working in areas where it may be difficult to collect the abrasive after use. Quartz sand is used in the production of glass, but during the melting process the crystalline quartz is transformed into amorphous quartz.

Switching from using quartz sand to using crushed glass improves the working environment as ReBlast does not include the notoriously harmful respirable quartz.
